About the magazine

Aboriginal Business Magazine is a national publication aimed at educating business owners on specific business related issues on a monthly basis. The magazine also increases Indigenous business owner's awareness of business information, products and services and showcases Indigenous business people who are doing great things in Australia.

The magazine is produced in Brisbane and distributed Australia wide working with a number of freelance journalists and contributors from across a range of industries.

About the feature story

The feature story appeared in ABM's September issue 2012. The story covers topics such as business for non-businesspeople, design for non-designers and the art of selling oneself through confidence and commitment.

About the column

Mitchell has been a regular columnist for the magazine since its inception in 2012. The magazine contains 14 regular advice columns on various topics concerning Australian business people. Mitchell writes regular columns on websites and marketing regarding topics such as the impact of social media for business, the ethical issues of crowd sourcing and the importance of maintaining a yearly marketing plan.

So far ABM magazine and Artifact Atelier have received plenty of positive feedback regarding the articles contributed by our Principal Designer.

About Artifact Atelier Principal Designer

Mitchell founded Artifact Atelier in early 2010, since then he has developed a fantastic rapport with the local and national Indigenous business community. Working out of the Hunter Valley Indigenous Business Chamber and providing assistance to Indigenous business owners has established Artifact as an important Graphic Design resource for the Hunter Valley and its vast Indigenous community.

Artifact looks forward to a long and fruitful relationship with ABM allowing our message of the importance of quality graphic design and website services to spread from the Hunter Valley to the rest of Australia.
